If you’ve stopped by the One Step site in the past…welcome to the new one. When we started a few years ago we were a video production company, and we’ve continued producing content as the media landscape has changed around us. With each project we’ve adapted new skills, and what we’re up to has gotten a lot more complicated as we’re producing websites, blogs, apps, animation and even prototype products. Multi-Media/Mutli-Platform
The Stream
A primary tenet of our mutli-media content approach is an understanding of social media one can only gain by growing up steeped in the world of networked devices. At One Step we’ve realized that, like the web, multi-media is not what it appears from the outside. It does not stand still. The “social web” is an endless stream of information, about friends and strangers alike, that flows 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week, in real time. Hand in hand with this; different tools have arisen to allow users to access the stream and take part in a number of different ways, each with its own way of fitting into the life of the viewers.
Our Toolbox
With different interface or platform options (mobile, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Mac, PC etc) come different content expectations (video, chat, text, tweet, etc.) By understanding the nature of each of these platforms, as well as emerging platforms, One Step is able to produce content specifically catered to each platform while still maintaining the overall vision or story . We know which platform to use, as well as when and how to use them, because we use them ourselves, every day.
